The trail started from Pingtung Fangliao passed through Central Mountain to Taitung.There are still many ruins on the historical trail, such as the state border, the Japanese police station, the charcoal kiln, and the old iron wire bridge pier. When walking on the trail, there are also opportunities to see thousands of purple spotted butterflies gathering here for winter! If you go from west to east, you can walk to the Guzilun suspension bridge in Taitung for about 6 ~ 8 hours, is more than 15 kilometers. After walk in 18K of Dahan Forest Road, the forests are complete and diverse.
