We will start our journey towards city BorjomiOn the way we will visit cave town ‘Uplistsikhe’ (God’s fortress) - Built on a high rocky left bank of the Mtkvari River, it contains various structures dating from the Early Iron Age to the Late Middle Ages, and is notable for the unique combination of various styles of rock-cut cultures from Anatolia and Iran, as well as the co-existence of pagan and Christian architecture.After we will continue our way to city Borjomi and visit Borjomi mineral water park dating back to 1850, which occupies a narrow, wooded valley. Famous for its original warm mineral volcanic spring, named Ekaterina Spring, sits beneath a pavilion straight ahead of the park entrance. After you walk about 3km upstream, beyond the ‘attractions’ of the park proper, you’ll find a small, spring-fed swimming pools with a constant temperature of about 27°C, where you can relax.
