Firstly, this is not your typical ‘Jalan Alor’ street food market! :-)Kuala Lumpur night markets are great if you’re looking to experience the local lifestyle during your holiday in the Malaysian capital. Each day of the week, a small section of residential neighbourhoods throughout the city are closed off to traffic from 18:00 onwards to make way for stalls selling fresh produce, clothing, accessories and household items, creating oases of local culture and cuisine.Locally called pasar malam, these traditional street markets are an incredibly prominent feature in the Malaysian shopping experience, where locals go to buy a variety of goods in the evening. Visitors can also enjoy authentic local dishes and street snacks at cheap prices, from nasi lemak, burgers and noodles to Malay kuih (cakes), deep-fried bananas and fresh juices.Depending on the day & traffic situation, we will either drive or take the train to go there.
