Penhaligon’s Vaara EDP is inspired by Bertand Duchaufour’s journey to Jodhpur, India. Opening with notes of delicious carrot and coriander seed, creamy saffron and juicy quince, the fragrance moves into a floral heart, which incorporates notes of Indian magnolia, Moroccan rose absolute and a hint of peony, iris and freesia. The scent rests on a heady, seductive base of white musk, woods, tonka bean and benzoin resin, all of which are counterbalanced with the luscious sweetness of honey. - L.M.
