This tour is ideal for those of you who plan to spend more than just a day in Agra. There is more to see in and around Agra than just the Taj. If you like architecture, history, un-crowded off the beaten track places with plenty of nature, then you will enjoy this tour.During this tour we will be visiting three Hindus temples (6th to 10th century) within 1.5-2 hours driving distance from Agra. I call them ‘The Bateshwara Temple Circuit’ which comprises of Bateshwara Temples (ruins like Angkor Wat in Cambodia), Garh Padhavali (carvings) and Mitawali (inspired the design of the Parliament House in Delhi). The temples are devoid of mass tourism. Please dress up conservatively also please be patient - roads are not the best and tourist facilities at these temples are not like at the Taj.
