Susimaa (in English “Wolfland”) is the Off-grid Wolfland in Northern Europe, Finnish Lapland - founded in 2017 by the owners Vállju & Kauni Susisydän. The owners once lived a worldly life in big cities - now the raise their family & work with their wolfdogs and farm animals (Goats, Sheep, Rabbits, Chickens, Quails) on their off-the-grid farm in the arctic woods of Lapland, becoming more and more self-sufficient year by year. The family life is simple and follows GODs will.Susimaa is a nature-friendly, responsible, real family business - No mass tourism takes place.The dogs - are wolfdogs (except for one), they are working dogs (hiking, (kick)biking, sled pulling). The dogs diet consists of natural food in form of real meat, bones and vegetables, grains & fruits. The dogs live in exceptional large enclosures with lots of space to roam, run & play. Big open spaces are a number one priority at Susimaa for all animals living here to allow the animals to behave as naturally as possible.
